April 2009
The beginning of April found us living in Albuquerque while we hoped our house was selling Tucson. We were able to score some cheap tickets to Denver and decided it was to time to see the Xman again. It was freezing but fun. We toured around Boulder and got to see the many climbing tricks of Xander.

Lake Havasu with Uncle Udo & Aunt Reik

We went to Lake Havasu with Bill's Mom to spend the weekend with Uncle Udo and Aunt Reik from Canada. It had been quite a few years since we had visited and we had so much fun. Of course, they kept forgetting Debbie doesn't speak Dutch. But I got pretty good at figuring out the gist of the story. It was so nice to see Lydia laughing and sharing remember when stories. She grew up with them in Appledoorn, Holland and then married Reik's brother Herman. We also heard some riveting World War II stories.

Zoo Lights in Denver

January 2009
The first part of January found me in Denver babysitting Xander while his Daddy was snowboarding and his Mommy working. Rochelle and I took Xander to Zoo Lights in downtown Denver. It was soooooo cold but lots of fun.
